The Hotel Puente Romano is situated on the southern coast of Spain on the Costa del Sol in the heart of the Golden Mile, a residential area between Marbella and Puerte Banús, just 35 minutes drive from the Málaga Airport. Taxis are available at the airport, and transfers can be arranged at the time of booking.

Coming from Airport Malaga

Follow through the roundabout straight ahead (or 2. exit), into the AVENIDA VELÁZQUEZ / MA-21 and then keep right. The road brings you to the Autovia (Highway) in the direction A-7 BENALMÁDENA / ALGECIRAS
Turn into the MA-20 / AUTOVÍA DEL MEDITERRÁNEO for 2,3 km and follow in the direction A-7 BENALMÁDENA / ALGECIRAS
Stay on MA-20, which becomes the A-7 then, for 13,1 km

Highway splits

Large lighting systems above the road announce the split of the Autovía into the A-7 and AP-7:
The A-7 leads you along the slower but scenic coastal autovía, whose use is free of charge: keep right in this case.
The AP-7 is a payable (P for Peaje) Autopista, and leads you through the hills above the coast line. The saving is approx 20 – 30 minutes. Its use costs in the off-season EUR 3,60 and in high season EUR 5,50 per one way. The toll station is located after you have done most of the distance. Keep left in this case.

Highways merge

After approx 28km (1) resp. 20km (2) both highways A-7 and AP-7 merge again into the A-7 AUTOVÍA DEL MEDITERRÁNEO, shortly before you reach Marbella. On your right you can see the Shopping Center “La Cañada”.
Go straight ahead for another 3 km
Keep to the right lane and exit at no. 182 Nagüeles to your right.

The roundabout

At the end of the ramp turn right (Attention, traffic from left!!) and go into the roundabout and go once around 360°, and take the bridge above the autovía.
After the bridge turn right in the next roundabout, down the hill. Follow the curvy road (approx 250m) and turn right at the traffic light into the Carretera de Cadiz A-340.
After 300m you pass the Marbella Club Hotel to your left (first traffic lights) After another 300m slow down and keep right and turn right at the traffic light into the semi-roundabout and stay left in order to cross the road. In front of you is the Puente Romano.
Cross the road Carretera de Cadiz straight ahead into the driveway.
